Mr. Swain specializes in unique transactions, primarily for small- to medium-sized capitalization companies. Previously, Mr. Swain was with the Rothschild family’s investment banking firm (New Court Securities) and was a partner in several associated funds, participating (on the banking side) in the IPO’s for Federal Express and Cray Research. Moving from there to Dillon Read, where Mr. Swain was the Supervisory Analyst and on the Board of Dillon Read Securities and in charge of all research, Mr. Swain sold Reuters its North American operations. Mr. Swain’s subsequent involvement as a partner and founder of Transocean Capital has given him the unique perspective of a hedge fund manager and prepared him for the opportunities in the Chinese small cap market where he currently specializes. Mr. Swain believes that hand-crafting and attention to detail are the hallmark of every excellent transaction.

Mr. Swain is a graduate of West Point and the Harvard Business School. In the military, Mr. Swain was an Airborne, Ranger, Jumpmaster with the rank of Captain. Mr. Swain joined 1st BridgeHouse in 2006 as a Senior Vice President of Investment Banking.
